August 3, 2007 - Blast Master KRS- One and Lady Bug Mecca totally represented in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. Ladybug Mecca sang some songs from her solo album “Trip The Light Fantastic.” As a bonus, Mecca hit the crowd off with some Digable Planets favs.
KRS-One rocked hip hop from the 80’s right through to the Milleneum. KRS- One has to be one of the greatest hip-hop performers of all times…..He literally had the crowed banging their heads all the way through.. The most dynamic thing about his performance was when he reflected back 20 years ago, when he usd to sit behind the very stage that he performed on homeless. Although he was homeless, he knew one day he would be on stage, and the world would know his name. As KRS-One says, “take five minutes everyday to seeyour future.” Speak it, see it, and believe it…anything can manifest.
